These are the different areas in which EWL is working to bridge the gap of homelessness.
Care Packages
On July 6th, 2024 we completed our first event of distributing care packages where we distributed 50 care packages in Kensington, PA. So far we've completed 4 events and have given away over 500 care packages in the city of Philadelphia. The next distribution will happen on June 14th of 2025!
Resource events
These events aim to be more intentional with the homeless community and take some time to know them as individuals. The events incorporate a variety of elements that aim to promote community outreach and resources. A day to celebrate a new tomorrow and a chance to bring people together to support those in need. More info about the event will be provided as the day approaches.
Reach the mission
The mission is simple! to eradicate homelessness once and for all by following a plan that doesn't just hand out solutions but gets to the root of the problem. Addiction, bad stewarding, childhood trauma and many other factors can be attributed to homelessness, and our aim is to target every one of them at EWL. A place for the people by the people and placing God as our compass to accomplish said mission.
